2022 Chateau Pierhem – Bob Perkins Cuvée

Description

This one is personal. Bob didn’t just select this wine; he made it. Working barrel by barrel alongside the winemaker, he tasted wine aged in oak from different coopers and different toasts. Then he chose how much of each barrel went into the final blend. The result is a wine that exists nowhere else, shaped by the palate behind every bottle in the club. It comes from a winery Bob has worked with for more than a decade, one whose wines have made it through our blind tasting again and again.

It’s from the 2022 vintage, which Bob called “worth the hype” when he tasted it in barrel. This is our second Bob Perkins Cuvée, and like the first, it’s a one-time wine: 6-bottle packs only, and when it’s gone, it’s gone.
