Description
Overview:
Owned by the same family for over five generations, Château Haut-Gravat has quietly been raising its game through decades of constant improvements to the vineyard, the cellar, and every detail of how this wine is made. This 2022 Cru Artisan Médoc is the kind of wine that rewards that patient, generational craftsmanship — twelve months in oak barrels, and already winning awards with a Gold medal in Frankfurt and Silvers in Paris and Lyon. A wine estate hitting its stride, and a beautiful expression of the Médoc to share with our members.
Bob’s Review:
Wow! I love the nose on this one — it draws you right in. Beautifully balanced, with a touch of welcome sweetness and the classic dark fruit and barnyard character I look for in old-world Bordeaux. It’s a little tight today, but everything is in place. This is really good. Drink now or hold on to.
